So the latest Bleach chapter had a colour spread and the results from the latest Shounen Jump character poll. *glee*





...what, I like Grimmjow and Hitsugaya. Actually, I like all of them. ♥

But mostly I like Kubo Tite for drawing that. *grin*

Ishida wonders if purple really is Grimmjow's colour, Ichigo is totally checking Grimmjow out and Rukia approves. Her little boy is growing up! Meanwhile, Hitsugaya wants to kill the people who voted for him and forced him to stand beside a group of morons.

Ulquiorra was tenth with a tiny and adorable green scarf. *giggles* Right after Kira and Hinamori, and I will never ever understand why they were so popular.

I think I know why Hitsugaya is so popular. Hiei was the most popular character in Japan for during the early 90's. (The manager of the Japanses bookstore in this gigantic mall by me told me that when he saw my Hiei doll, and I've confirmed it through the internets.) And Histugaya is very much like Hiei: short, fast, surly bishie that uses dragons. There you go.

He is! Look at Ichigo's face, he's clearly thinking "man, Grimmjow is hot". Rukia approves any opportunity to a) get Ichigo laid and b) tape it and sell it to the highest bidder. She's practical like that. *grin*

I've just been reading through the YYH manga scanlations (the Sensui arc is next, and I have a sudden urge to write something Genkai/Toguro-ish [Genkai tops, we all know that]) and you're right. There's been two polls and Hiei has pwned them both. I don't have the first in hand but in the second, the top four were:

Hiei: 20764 votes
Kurama: 13514
Yusuke: 10048
Kuwabara: 3060

Hiei's way more popular than any other character in the series. Kurama and Yusuke have only ~3000 votes between them while Hiei and Kurama have ~7000 (same as Yusuke and Kuwabara).
