Where have all the smutty ideas gone and where are all the kinks?

I can't believe that I can't write for simple prompts. ;__; Not even if they're smutty prompts for the aforementioned Bleach kink meme. It's not that I can't write, just that hello, missing the point of the meme!

Example #1: Ok, technically it has everything the requester wants. Except that it's mostly crack and there's not much sex happening.

Example #2: Two pages, WIP and no actual sex. WHAT. Why is it so long? Why am I thinking about backstory and motivations? except that the request sort of needed some of that Also, stop being so nice(ish), Grimmjow, it's creeping me out. I'm not sure if I'll even finish this one.

Example #3: Someone wanted Noitora/Nell fight sex.

"All right," I thought, "shouldn't be too difficult." Some time later I finish writing and read it. "It's short, right. Technically it's smutty, too, but where the hell is the actual sex? The fight is off-screen too! Is it even IC?"

Well, it is difficult to say if Nell's IC since we haven't really seen or heard her all grown up. Maybe I'll just post it here and not comment to the request at all. *sigh*

Don't worry hon, I'm never able to do those sudden kink memes either. My fics start off okay, then get too long, then I angst over getting them edited and re-edited. *ggg* I think it just means we put much more thought into our stuff, and can't just churn out fic at the drop of a hat. I don't think this is a bad thing at all. :) Though I'm not saying anything against those who can churn out good stuff at the drop of a hat. It just means we work differently. :)

I'm beginning to suspect that we might put too much thought into our stuff. :D But like you said, it's not necessarily a bad thing. It just makes me think that I've never actually got over asking "why" like a little child. :P
