There needs to be a fic along the lines of

Could shoot through my hearts with his eyes closed and then your mum would make shoes of my skin. Or maybe it'd be the other way around, you never know with those two.

And fics about the lizard woman and her ~~girlfriend~~ maid!

I saw the Big Reveal coming a mile away and also, shipping River and the Doctor is sort of creepy since he's her parents' friend. I've never shipped it but now the thought is just... no.

I'm also worried for Rory because it really sounds like River might kill him instead of the Doctor (who was my first guess). ;___;

YES and YES and YES to all of this! And yeah, I saw it coming, too, I was really hoping they wouldn't take it any other way because that would have been a trifle illogical...

Also, the astronaut/Melody/River already killed the Doctor in The Impossible Astronaut (it has to be her, really, I was thinking it was River even before that ep was out), so I guess Rory's safe? For now?

I'm actually a bit confused because if River knew that Amy and Rory were her parents, why were her reactions to them so, well, mild? It was always all about the Doctor while her parents were standing right there. IDK, more awkwardness maybe?

I don't think that the Doctor died for good there. A delayed regeneration or a hoax to make everyone believe that he's dead, maybe. River's said that she killed the best man she ever knew and to girls that's usually dear old daddy. Not to mention, the Doctor, the episode and River herself all told that the Docotr isn't a good man. Brilliant, yes, but not good, unlike Rory. And then there's the whole thing where the (Sontaran?) warrior turned nurse died while Rory is a nurse turned warrior. That better not be foreshadowing. >:(

...I think too much about that. XD It's just that I don't want Rory to die and I then I see hints everywhere. XD

Well, if you think about it, it makes sense. Timey-wimey: they've only ever met versions of River who have already had the reunion with them! She had enough control of her emotions at that point to not freak out about seeing her parents at last. Also, she doesn't really have any physical connection to them, so...

What really concerns me is that River Song reacted very weirdly to the astronaut, considering she knew who was inside...but that's probably going to wind up being a Stable Loop dealie, perhaps.

I don't know if the foreshadowing points to her having killed Rory, honestly. On the one hand, there's the evidence you pointed at; on the other, the Doctor's clearly the Good Man as of ep 7, and River's more likely to consider the Doctor the best man she knows, rather than Rory, whom she's only encountered a handful of times that we know of... hmm, must think about this further...
