Me too! I hope that we'll get more than 12 episodes (I read somewhere that it's only 12 ;___;).

Oh, I have news for you then: The series has been pushed back to next year (mid-2012? how will I survive??) and Nickelodeon ordered 14 more episodes, although by the sounds of it, the first 12 are already written and form a tight story arc. <- taken from inkstone

I really hope that it'll be a success, if for nothing else than to prove that a girl can be a kickass protagonist in a children's TV series. From what I've seen, the AtLA ladies were loved by both girls and boys.
