And the word is... crack.
It all began when
miss__sophia posted the infamous picture of the Phelps twins holding twincest signs. No, wait, it all began with Michael Rosenbaum's new and shiny smut box.
Well, in any case that led to a talk about the real crack pairings in Potter fandom. And then it was only natural that we'd end up writing them.
Gryffindor sword/Slytherin locket
"Oh gods..." the Sword whined softly, careful not to wake up the phoenix. The bastard was as bad as its owner when it came to peeping.
A thin, silvery chain wrapped around the blade, murmuring teasingly, "You're not giving in already, are you? I thought you Gryffindors had more... stamina."
The Sword swore under its breath when the chain slithered across its hard surface. The low, scraping noise and the feel of the tiny, round loops was, in the end, too much and the Sword came with a sharp gasp.
As it lay on the table, panting and exhausted, the Locket whispered with a hint of smugness in its voice, "Next time, bring the lube. My chain is getting scratched."
miss__sophia's brilliant 4 Privet Drive/12 Grimmauld Place can found in the comments above, but I'll link it here once she posts it in her lj. Crack like that should be shared.
