Our friendly neighborhood Mary-Sue
I've been reading too many rants of Mary-Sues, OOC behaviour, plot holes etc. lately. It had to affect me somehow. Still, it isn't an excuse for this.

Meeting the Stranger
- Run, you fools! -
"It's so beautiful in here," Kurama said and Yuusuke and Kuwabara nodded, both of them smelling the flowers around them. "Almost as if another Youko lived here..."
Kurama hadn't quite finished saying that when the owner of the garden appeared. Kurama's eyes widened and he barely controlled a sudden urge to drop on his knees to worship the sight in front of them.
There, surrounded by the rising sun, stood a woman more beautiful than anything they'd ever seen. She had a waist-length, golden hair and golden fox's ears. Her eyes were the colour of a clear summer sky and her full and soft lips mirrored the colour of the palest of roses. Her face was as flawless as her porcelain skin, and she looked young although the wisdom in her eyes told them that she was probably older than them.
"Hello," she said shyly with her melodic voice. "My name is Alyssandria."

Obstacles in the Way of True Love
- Thank gods for the Jagan. -
"No!" Alyssandria screamed in a broken voice and burst into tears. "You are mean and wrong!"
Kurama would have gone after her and offered comfort if he hadn't been so angry. "Hiei! How dare you accuse my beloved Alyssa for something like that? She's as innocent as a child and her pure mind would never invent something like that!"
"Have you all gone mad?" Hiei inquired. "Am I the only one seeing what she's doing?"
"She has done nothing but good for all of us! We are happier around her and I've finally found someone who can understand me. We're at peace near her."
"Not me," Hiei muttered and continued, "you're not acting like yourself. For gods' sake, you were about to sing a ballad for her honour half an hour ago and Koenma uses his older form all the time. Not to mention that Yuusuke has decided to become a priest in order to redeem himself."
"She inspires us to be better!" Kurama answered furiously. "But I guess that's something you would never understand."
Bared Souls and Bodies
- The cheesy, the angsty and the mentally ill. -
"Oh, Alyssa," Kurama sighed and cradled her in his arms. "I love you so much!"
"I love you too, my own Kurama," Alyssa said softly, wrapping her slender arms around his neck. "After my parents were murdered and I was raped I never thought I'd found a man who could still want me."
"How could anyone not want you?" Kurama asked, amazed. "You are the most beautiful woman I've ever seen and your soul is as wonderful as your body. I don't care what happened to you before we met. Nothing could make me abandon you and I will protect you until the end of time!"
"Oh, my beloved," Alyssa whispered and two tears escaped her deep blue eyes and turned into diamonds just before they hit the floor. "Will you take me?" she continued shyly, a hint of blush on her pale cheeks. "Will you make love to me, Kurama?"
"If you are sure that is what you want," Kurama answered seriously. "You don't have to do that if you don't want to, not now or ever. I will stay by your side whatever you decide."
"I want that." Alyssa smiled. "I trust you."
Kurama smiled, too, and lifted Alyssa like she didn't weight more than a light feather and carried her towards his bedroom.
The Deepest Betrayal
- Escape while you still can. -
"Do we have enough money?" Kuwabara wondered, standing beside their new jeep.
"I have," Hiei said from the front seat. "You don't think I would have spent everything on this machine?"
"Stop worrying, Kazuma, and sit down." Yukina smiled and patted the place next to her. "Everything has been taken care of."
"Still, I'm not sure if this is the right thing to do..."
"Sit down or we'll leave without you," Shizuru snapped and tapped the steering wheel impatiently. "There's nothing else we can do."
"Yes," Keiko agreed sadly. "We can't help them anymore but we can still save ourselves."
"I suppose you're right." Kuwabara sighed and sat down, closing the door behind him. "I just wouldn't want to leave them on her mercy."
"Don't worry. She wouldn't hurt them. Probably." Hiei smirked and the car dashed off, leaving Kuwabara's horrified screech behind it.
I dare you to create your own Yu Yu Hakusho Mary-Sue. It's more fun than it should be.
